Our story: The heart of Farm Jamb
Discover the journey of Farm Jamb, a bluegrass music festival born from a love for family, music, and community. Learn about our beginnings in Frankfort, Kentucky, and how we've grown into a beloved annual event where everyone feels like family.

From family gatherings to a thriving festival
Farm Jamb began with a simple, heartfelt idea: to create a special gathering for our children and grandchildren. We loved getting together, hanging out, and listening to great music – some bluegrass, some country, always real. We attended other shows and realized, "This is something we can do! We have the land; let's do it." What started as a cherished family tradition has blossomed into something much bigger, and each year keeps getting bigger and better. We genuinely love what we do, and it all stems from that original love for family and music.

Bringing people together, one song at a time
If there's one feeling we want every visitor to take away from Farm Jamb, it's that the world would be a much better place if we could all just come together. Our festival is designed to be a place where people from all walks of life, from different states and backgrounds, can gather, make friends, and enjoy amazing music in a safe and welcoming environment. It’s about building connections and fostering a sense of community that extends beyond the festival grounds.

Growth fueled by your support
Since our beginnings in 2022, the most significant positive change and key moment has been the incredible support we receive from our guests. The crowds keep getting bigger and bigger each year, and that's precisely what motivates us to do more and to do better. Your enthusiasm and continued presence make Farm Jamb what it is today. We provide safe grounds, RV camping, primitive camping, food vendors, merchandise vendors, and shower houses, all with the goal of making you feel like family. Because once you come, you'll keep coming back – it feels like one big family reunion.
"The family atmosphere at Farm Jamb is unlike any other festival. We came once, and now it's our annual tradition!"
